Your recipes looks so yummy – I have just printed the Chocolate Strawberry Macarons….Mum is going bake the biccies now and we might cheat and buy some ice creams…but we do have 1 kg of straws so might make your ice cream too….

If its really good – we will blog it. if that is OK with you…..

I love the fact that Santa Flamingo visits your house. I must be on his naughty list as my friends have to bring me new family members. My friend made me some of your Pink Flamingo Macarons for my birthday and then told me where she found the recipe. So this year I got 2 great birthday presents the Macarons and your blogspot. Thanks for such a fun place to come and be happy. Linda =)

hello Barbara, I enjoy your website. Do you take you own photos? I find it such a struggle to get good pictures, and that’s assuming I even remember to take them before people eat up what I made. Like last nights croutons. I took a picture of them in the pan, then was going to take a picture of the salad. Oops, we ate it. I was doing a post of what to do with stale bread. Oh well, better go make some french toast or something.
thanks, Linda M

Thanks Linda! Yes I take all my own photos and I can definitely relate to struggling to get good pictures before the food is gobbled up. I’ve taken to writing Do Not Eat on food that I haven’t photographed yet. lol

Hi – found your recipe for Cinnamon Swirl Brioche courtesy of Serious Eats and am I happy to have done so. The recipe sounds wonderful and the finished bread looks marvellous – have to try it this weekend. It reminds me of a Babka recipe I have in my “try” folder and those instructions call for cutting dough in three portions, then rolling each portion I forgot how long they should be, then folding in half and twisting – the end result seems to be almost identical as your recipe -

At any rate, I am so happy to have found you.
